It is currently considered the form of psychotherapeutic intervention with the best scientifically proven results. It is a pragmatic and structured approach to read how the current emotional, relational and thought dynamics put the person in difficulty can find their origins in life history. Once the objectives have been defined, the psychotherapist path aims to explore our life patterns and interpretation of reality to identify the critical aspects that put us in difficulty. The gradual understanding of one's own psycho-emotional functioning opens up, along the way, spaces for re-elaboration and potentially for profound change.

We can consider them practices for wellbeing and health that support inner growth and a path of awareness. All provide for a continuity of practice which, by involving the body in different forms, help regulate psychophysical states, manage energy and rebalance the mind. The origins are attributable to oriental cultures and date back thousands of years ago. The oldest is yoga, from which Buddhist practices originate (on which Mindfulness is inspired). While taijiquan develops in China and is linked to Taoist traditions. Today they are spreading in the West suggesting a reorganization of lifestyles more attentive to a form of holistic well-being where the pursuit of pleasure is replaced by a   movement towards individual and collective health. The effectiveness of these practices is widely demonstrated by current scientific research, but the need to find prepared teachers whose personal practice dates back to many years of study and is rooted in a thorough knowledge of the traditions from which these practices derive originate
